FAQs

  • How can you remove a dent out without damaging the paint?

Paintless dent removal is "the art of massaging metal back into its original form". It is the fastest, most efficient, cost-effective method of removing door dings, creases and minor dents from your car.

  • How do you dry the paint?

All paints are now water based and as such they dry very quickly with heat guns and hot air guns.

  • How long will a repair take?

This generally depends on the damage.  A small repair can be finished in under two hours whereas multiple repairs or large areas of damage can take a full day. Fast drying techniques speed up the process and we complete the job as quickly as possible whilst still maintaining the highest standards.

  • How much will it cost?

The cost depends on the amount of damage and each job is quoted on an individual basis however we aim to be around 50% cheaper than many standard body shops.

  • What if it's raining on the day of the repair?

We can try to carry out work in bad weather as we have canopies that we put over the vehicle, however if the weather is too severe we will contact you to reschedule.

  • Why not go to a bodyshop?

For major accident damage, a body shop is often the best choice, however for minor accident damage, paintwork scratches, scuffs and dents then we do offer an advantage:

    • Repairs completed within a day
    • Appointments at a time and location to suit you
    • Minimum delay from damage to repair completion
    • No need for an unfamiliar and expensive courtesy car or hire car
    • Competitive prices
  • Will I be able to use the car straight away?

Yes, the car will be ready to drive when we have completed the work, however we recommend that you don’t wash the car for at least 48 hours.

  • Will the colour match exactly?

All cars come with a colour code on the car and this code is input into a computer simulation to get the exact colour match. Using this formula the paint is then mixed and ready to be used.
